Energy Holding is a certified manufacturer of EXC-3 class steel bridge structures headquartered in Gdańsk. We carry out comprehensive bridge construction – from element prefabrication, through anti-corrosion protection, to on-site assembly.
A 5,000 m² production hall and a production capacity of 400 tons per month allows us to prefabricate even oversized bridge elements and deliver them directly to the construction site.
What bridges do we build?
Steel plate bridges
Plate girders made of structural steel S235, S355 and higher. Box and I-beams welded from thick plates. Ideal for road and railway bridges with large spans.
Bridges and footbridges made of tubular profiles
Trusses and arches made of circular and rectangular tubular profiles. A light and aesthetic structure ideal for pedestrian and cyclist footbridges and bridges with small spans.
Truss bridges
Welded trusses made of rolled sections – I-beams, channels, angles. An economical solution for road, industrial and railway bridges.
Pedestrian and cyclist footbridges
Light steel footbridges with railings and a surface made of grating or chequered plates. Installations in cities, parks and industrial zones.
Full scope of work – from steel to a finished bridge
Prefabrication of bridge elements
Cutting, bending and welding of bridge structure elements in our production hall in Gdańsk. Quality control of welds and dimensions in accordance with PN-EN 1090 EXC-3.
Sandblasting and surface preparation
Abrasive sandblasting to cleanliness grade Sa 3 (ISO 8501-1) – the standard required for bridges and structures exposed to atmospheric conditions. Sandblasting removes rust, mill scale and contamination, ensuring optimal adhesion of anti-corrosion coatings.
Thermal spray metallization
Zinc or aluminium thermal spray metallization using flame or arc method. Metallization provides durable anti-corrosion protection for bridges for 25–50 years without the need for maintenance painting. Metallization coating thickness selected according to environmental conditions.
Anti-corrosion painting
Painting systems selected according to environmental corrosivity category:
• C3 (urban and industrial environment) – epoxy + polyurethane, min. 3 coats
• C4 (chemical industry, coastal) – zinc epoxy + epoxy + polyurethane, min. 4 coats
• C5 (marine environment, highly aggressive) – high-resistance epoxy-polyurethane system
• Fire protection R120 – intumescent paints for structures requiring 120-minute fire resistance
Hot-dip galvanizing
For elements requiring long-term anti-corrosion protection we offer hot-dip galvanizing at external plants. Hot-dip zinc provides protection for 30–70 years depending on environmental conditions.
Transport and on-site assembly
Own oversized transport and experienced assembly crews carrying out works throughout Poland. Welding and assembly at the construction site, supervisory management and final inspection.
Non-destructive testing and documentation
Weld testing using VT, MT, PT, UT and RT methods. Full as-built documentation in accordance with PN-EN 1090 EXC-3.
